Fantastic news out of Niseko to kick off this winter season – a new all-season Gondola has been announced, as part of the resort’s initiative to boost its year-round appeal.
The new 10-seater Gondola is scheduled for completion in time for the 2024-25 winter, and will be suitable for mountain bike usage during the summer months also.
It will be taking the place of the much loved Centre Four chairlift – and as sad as it will be to see the old girl go -there’s no denying that replacing a non-hooded 4-seater chair with a 10 person gondola is a massive upgrade.
Tokyu’s continued investment in developing the resort area is most welcome, and will surely help Niseko’s move towards becoming a resort for all seasons.
